My name is Anthony Serrano, and I’m the co-founder and head trainer of Serrano Bailey Dog Training, a vision that began with my younger brother Alexander Bailey and our first dog, Mak, a Presa Canario who became the heart of our journey.

When Alex and I started training at 18 years old, we didn’t just want to teach dogs commands, we wanted to understand them. Mak was our first student, our best friend, and our greatest teacher. Through him, we learned patience, structure, and how powerful the bond between human and dog can truly be.

Our early years with Mak gave us hands-on experience with larger, high-drive breeds, and taught us the importance of calm, confident leadership. Over time, that foundation grew into a passion for helping all dogs, from puppies learning basic obedience to adult dogs overcoming behavioral challenges.

Over the past five years, I’ve personally trained hundreds of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Each dog I work with reminds me why I started, to help both dogs and owners find trust, balance, and understanding through proper communication and training.

Although my brother Alex and Mak have both passed away, their presence still guides me every single day. Everything I do, every lesson, every session, every success, is built on the dream we started together. Their love for dogs and belief in this mission continue to inspire me to keep pushing forward and to become the best trainer I can be — for them, for my clients, and for the dogs who rely on me.

Today, I continue that legacy through SB Dog Training, offering personalized programs that focus on creating harmony between dogs and their owners. My approach combines structure, patience, and clear communication to help every dog reach their potential, whether it’s mastering obedience, improving behavior, or strengthening the bond with their family.

In addition to training, I’ve also continued our shared passion for the Presa Canario by breeding working-line Presas. My goal is to preserve and improve the breed’s loyalty, intelligence, athleticism, and balanced temperament — the same qualities that made Mak so special to us.

What started as two brothers and one amazing dog has grown into a lifelong mission to help dogs and their owners live better, more fulfilling lives together. Through Serrano Bailey Dog Training, I honor the memory of my brother and best friend, while continuing to build a legacy of passion, dedication, and respect for every dog I meet.

“We are completely satisfied with their service. Anthony had our Drake for 4 weeks and done a fabulous job. Anthony is a fabulous trainer and Love Drake and Drake love him just as much. I highly recommend them for your needs and training and to help you and your pet. Our Drake was stubborn and wouldn't listen to us and did pretty much what he wanted to do and dog sense got that all under control and now he is a marvelous dog and listens and we can walk him off leash and on leash and he does everything that we command him to do.”

Debbie D.

“We had private sessions with Anthony. He has completely transformed our lil puppy into an enjoyable pet at home. He is top notch and I would recommend to anyone. We will be starting our board train with him soon! Our puppy loves it.”
